Training Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and enhance Fieldpiece’s technical training strategy, curriculum, and content for the EMEA region.

• Provide training both in-person and via video formats.

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of approximately 3–4 technical trainers across Europe.

• Develop scalable and localized training programs tailored for technicians, distributors, sales teams, ambassadors, and various partners.

• Manage training initiatives within a Learning Management System (LMS).

• Forge partnerships with training centers, educational institutions, and external training providers.

• Supervise regional technical support and repair functions.

• Set training objectives, identify knowledge deficiencies, and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.

• Collaborate with EMEA leadership, Sales, Marketing, Product, and the training team in the U.S.

• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and the delivery of product expertise throughout the EMEA region.

• Travel approximately 50% of the time across Europe, primarily in the UK, Italy, France, Benelux, Nordics, and DACH.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in technical training.

• Demonstrated experience in developing technical curricula and delivering practical training.

• More than 2 years of experience in leading, coaching, or developing a team.

• Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, equipment, tools, or a closely related technical sector.

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

• Comfortable handling technical products directly.

• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, applicable training for diverse audiences.

• Experience working across different countries, cultures, and functions.

• Fluency in German and English.

• Preference for Italian, French, or Dutch language skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% throughout the EMEA region.
