Trading Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional support to enterprise-level clients via phone, email, and chat.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to account management, order entry, processing, execution, FIX sessions, and OMS functionality.

• Aid clients in troubleshooting and addressing technical challenges.

• Monitor client accounts and trading activities for irregularities, offering timely alerts and assistance.

• Keep abreast of market trends and trading infrastructure to offer informed guidance and insights.

• Oversee corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, mergers, and other events, ensuring precise communication and resolution.

• Collaborate with trading desks, operations, IT, and compliance teams to address client concerns.

• Gather client feedback and share insights with product development and management teams.

• Ensure that trading activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with client operations and trading processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in brokerage operations, trading, or a similar field.

• Demonstrated experience in customer support, relationship management, and trading services.

• Proven experience with trading platforms and equities trading, along with familiarity with the FIX protocol. Options experience is an advantage.

• Must possess either FINRA Series 7, 63, or local equivalent, with a commitment to obtain within the first 6 months.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment and maintenance of client relationships.

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficient verbal communication skills in a language other than English; French, German, or Arabic are advantageous.

• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High ethical standards and a dedication to maintaining confidentiality.
