This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and coordinate the annual Medicare Advantage bid planning, development, governance, and submission processes.
• Act as the primary coordination point among Product, Finance, Actuarial, Growth Strategy, Markets, Quality, and executive leadership teams.
• Create and manage the integrated annual bid plan calendar, which includes milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and CMS deadlines.
• Serve as the go-to expert for questions and feedback related to bid planning and execution process governance.
• Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies while facilitating strategies for mitigation.
• Monitor the overall health of the program and escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary.
• Assist in conducting annual bid retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to bid process execution and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate on new plan expansion strategies with key strategic partners.
• Ensure that appropriate stakeholders, including executive leaders, are involved in discussions and decision-making processes.
• Organize governance meetings, create agendas, prepare pre-read materials, discussion guides, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of decisions, approvals, assumptions, and action items; recommend unresolved issues for escalation.
• Enhance bid governance processes, decision-making forums, and planning methodologies.
• Cultivate relationships across teams including Product, Finance, Actuarial, Markets, Stars/Quality, Compliance, and Strategy.
• Promote alignment among teams with varying priorities and viewpoints.
• Ensure that stakeholders comprehend their responsibilities, timelines, and expected outcomes during the bid cycle.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, strategy sessions, governance meetings, and executive forums.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, attendance, communication, and follow-up activities.
• Uphold forum charters and rules of order to ensure effective outcomes and decisions.
• Prepare presentation materials for executives in collaboration with Growth Strategy teammates.
• Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and emerging issues to leadership effectively.
• Assist executives in preparing significant bid-related updates for the Board through provision of talking points and preparation sessions.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations, strategy, consulting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that involve multiple stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated success in managing executive-level meetings, governance forums, or strategic planning processes.
• Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Strong skills in facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and execution capabilities.
• Experience in developing executive presentations and written communications.
• Background in supporting Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, healthcare product development, or regulated business operations.
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage bid processes, CMS requirements, healthcare regulatory environments, or annual planning cycles.
• Experience leading enterprise PMO, governance, or transformation initiatives.
• MBA, MHA, MPH, or another relevant advanced degree.
• Certification in PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or Change Management.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership teams.
• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space free of ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
