Field Operations Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Contribute to Grainger’s strategic objectives by delivering outstanding customer service and assisting clients in managing their inventory and operations.

• Serve multiple customer sites along a specified route.

• Receive and stock acquired products at assigned customer locations.

• Scan orders as inventory diminishes to ensure appropriate stocking levels.

• Confirm that customer inventory locations are accurately labeled and quantified.

• Promptly and accurately address customer issues.

• Adhere to Grainger and customer-facility safety and inspection protocols.

• Achieve established KPIs.

• Conduct machine repair and maintenance activities at customer sites.

• Plan and implement customer inventory projects.

• Gather precise inventory data to support KeepStock implementation.

• Assist in staging, labeling, and organizing products at customer sites.

• Complete product relocation and discontinuation processes.

• Travel as necessary.

• Carry out assigned branch duties.

• Identify additional product needs and generate new orders.

• Implement onsite service elements of account strategies.

• Collaborate with sales partners to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.

• Valid Driver's License is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or sales (e.g., Retail, telephone, warehouse) environment.

• Self-driven individual with high energy and commitment to customer service and sales expansion.

• Comfortable with daily technology usage.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with tact and diplomacy with both internal and external customers and cross-functional partners.

• Proven ability to exercise strong judgment and independent problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of Grainger’s Core Value Proposition.

• Capability to manage various technical and operational challenges.

• Adaptability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Background checks and drug screening may be necessary.

• May need to utilize a personal vehicle with valid insurance that meets Grainger’s standards.

• Capacity to visit customer sites while adhering to relevant safety requirements and PPE regulations.
