Trade Line Manager, Mold

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter authority for the mold trade line, encompassing inspection, remediation, and sanitation practices.

• Travel to various local offices and job sites to train, mentor, and assist technicians and managers.

• Perform field ride-alongs and job site assessments to observe techniques, offer practical coaching, and ensure consistent quality.

• Create and update mold training materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures.

• Collaborate with local office leadership to pinpoint performance deficiencies and formulate improvement strategies.

• Track mold service line performance metrics, including revenue, close rates, customer satisfaction, and callbacks.

• Suggest corrective measures and support teams in reaching their performance objectives.

• Remain updated on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to mold evaluation and remediation.

• Assist in onboarding and training new hires within the mold trade line.

• Work with marketing and sales leadership on mold-specific initiatives and promotions.

• Record training activities, site visits, observations, and findings following company protocols.

• Represent Protect Environmental in a professional manner with customers, partners, and local teams.

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.

• Over 3 years of experience in mold inspection, remediation, or a related environmental services sector.

• IICRC Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) certification or a relevant state mold remediation license is required.

• Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, or developing others in a field services or trade context.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Competence to work independently and manage a multi-market territory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and associated productivity software.

• Capability to learn and adapt to new technologies and business systems, including platforms like ServiceTitan.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Capacity to walk, climb ladders, and access attics, crawlspaces, and basements.

• Ability to demonstrate hands-on remediation techniques in the field.

• Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50–75%, including frequent overnight trips.

• Ability to work in a variety of customer job sites, local offices, and field settings.
