Trade Compliance Specialist 4

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee all licensing activities to ensure compliance and precision.

• Assess and elevate licensing and non-compliance concerns.

• Compose responses to external inquiries and data requests.

• Develop export licensing and compliance initiatives.

• Prepare and oversee export license applications for customer shipments.

• Analyze technical data for accurate export classification.

• Work collaboratively with trade compliance team members and engineering personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in drafting and managing U.S. Export authorities (U.S. Department of State, Department of Commerce).

• Familiarity with ITAR and EAR license lifecycle management in accordance with U.S. regulatory requirements and license conditions.

• Proficient in researching and assessing technologies against U.S. Export Regulations (ITAR and EAR) to ascertain export classification jurisdiction.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

• Exceptional attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and quality; able to review, verify, and validate work.

• Extensive knowledge of U.S. export and import laws and regulations.
