This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Spearhead the integration of Global Trade requirements into Digital Technology across Pratt & Whitney and its global locations.
• Provide guidance on Digital Technology and business transformation projects regarding jurisdiction and classification, authorizations and licensing, tangible and intangible transfers, as well as sanctions and screening.
• Convert Global Trade requirements into business and technology specifications.
• Identify compliance risks, gaps, and misalignments; propose solutions and facilitate resolution of issues.
• Manage designated Global Trade technology capabilities, which include classification and authorization tools, identity management, control ID management, and employee management systems.
• Deliver functional oversight for Global Trade regarding infrastructure, cloud, data platforms, DevSecOps, AI/Analytics, and file-sharing environments.
• Supervise the integration of Global Trade controls into system architecture, processes, and technological solutions.
• Direct master data, recordkeeping, and logging requirements, covering JC data, country groupings, approvers, Export Aggregator, Centralized Logging, ExLog, and EwidApp.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and adherence to regulatory requirements across assigned systems.
• Co-lead AECS capabilities and workstreams, promoting automation, data-driven controls, and Attribute-Based Access Control.
• Assist in digital portfolio planning, prioritization, delivery tracking, risk and dependency management, as well as budget and resource planning.
• Propel initiatives from the requirements phase through to implementation.
• Lead cross-functional teams encompassing Global Trade, Digital Technology, and business units.
• Represent Global Trade in enterprise and corporate initiatives.
• Provide leadership with insights into progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
• Travel to various company sites as necessary, approximately 10% of the time.
• A Bachelor's Degree alongside 10+ years of experience in roles involving compliance with ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations utilizing automated export compliance tools like classification software or SAP-GTS; OR an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person status is mandatory.
• Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations.
• Experience with automated export compliance tools, including classification software and SAP-GTS.
• Security clearance is not a prerequisite.
• Approximately 10% travel to company locations as needed.
