This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges across supported enterprise platforms, integrations, and dependencies.
• Offer technical guidance in Redwood RunMyJobs (RMJ), encompassing batch processing, scheduling, job chains, dependencies, monitoring, reporting, and recovery from failures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and suggest corrective measures.
• Assist in the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of platform enhancements and integrations.
• Discover opportunities to utilize AI and automation.
• Provide daily administration and operational support for enterprise platforms.
• Oversee critical workloads, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate recovery efforts.
• Manage platform configurations, access, permissions, service accounts, integrations, and operational settings.
• Monitor platform health and address incidents, alerts, service requests, and production challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve operational concerns.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, releases, configuration modifications, and scheduled maintenance.
• Conduct health checks and identify performance, stability, capacity, and security issues.
• Maintain integrations, connections, service accounts, certificates, and technical dependencies.
• Execute testing and validation following changes to platforms and infrastructure.
• Keep technical documentation, procedures, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles up to date.
• Track and report incidents, batch failures, recurring issues, platform health, and operational trends.
• Document root causes, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Redwood RunMyJobs (RMJ) and enterprise batch processing.
• Experience in administering and supporting critical business enterprise technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of batch scheduling, job chains, dependencies, monitoring, troubleshooting, and failure recovery.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows/Linux, databases, APIs, file transfers, authentication, and enterprise integrations.
• Preferred experience with ITSM, monitoring/observability, developer tooling, automation, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to learn and support multiple enterprise platforms while identifying opportunities for operational improvements through AI and automation.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours production support when necessary.
