This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Analyze and interpret chains of title and property documents.
• Assess ownership histories and identify title-related issues, restrictions, liens, encumbrances, and other factors impacting title.
• Validate property, ownership, and tax details for thoroughness and precision.
• Review legal descriptions, maps, plats, and associated documentation.
• Create and distribute preliminary title reports.
• Confirm suitable title search parameters and starter bases.
• Ensure that all pertinent information is captured and accurately represented in title products.
• Assist in title search operations and workflow as required.
• Maintain accuracy and production standards while adhering to deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to enhance customer service excellence.
• At least 2 years of experience in the title industry.
• Experience in examining title records, ownership histories, and chains of title.
• Strong understanding of title insurance practices and principles of title examination.
• Knowledgeable in legal descriptions, real property records, and real estate documentation.
• Capable of analyzing and interpreting title information accurately and efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities concurrently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in preparing preliminary title reports (preferred).
• Familiarity with Florida real estate and title practices (preferred).
• Experience with title plants and property information databases (preferred).
• Knowledge of mapped-property searches and direct starter-based examinations (preferred).
