Title Curative Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assess title searches and investigate title issues and inconsistencies in accordance with established underwriting standards, bulletins, and guidelines.

• Identify solutions to clear title issues and implement those solutions to address the identified problems.

• Acquire releases for prior liens and examine divorce decrees, trusts, and corporate documents.

• Collaborate with state and regional underwriting counsel to resolve title curative issues in alignment with policies and procedures.

• Request and monitor necessary clearance documentation.

• Liaise with lienholders or attorneys regarding HOA liens, municipal liens, and other property-related liens.

• Provide clients with estimated resolution dates for title curative matters and manage tracking reports.

• Oversee the review and correction processes and deliver completed documents to clients.

• Prioritize daily tasks to ensure that client SLAs are met for each assigned curative metric.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of curative experience within the title industry.

• Experience in Commercial and Purchase transactions is preferred.

• Ability to operate under general supervision.

• Capacity to make sound risk decisions.

• Familiarity with ResWare or similar title software is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats.

• Proficiency in multitasking and effectively managing priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.

• Capability to produce high volumes of work while performing under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners at all levels of stakeholders.
