Title Curative Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assess title searches and investigate title issues and discrepancies according to established underwriting standards, bulletins, and guidelines.

• Identify solutions to resolve title issues and take appropriate actions based on those solutions.

• Secure releases for previous liens and review divorce decrees, trusts, and corporate documents.

• Collaborate with state and regional underwriting counsel to address title curative issues.

• Request and monitor necessary clearance documentation.

• Interact with lienholders or attorneys concerning HOA liens, municipal liens, and other property-related liens.

• Provide clients with estimated dates for title curative resolutions and manage tracking reports.

• Oversee the review, correction, and delivery of finalized documents to clients.

• Prioritize daily tasks to ensure compliance with client service level agreements (SLAs).

• Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of curative experience within the title industry.

• Experience in commercial and purchase transactions is preferred.

• Capability to work under general supervision.

• Proficient in making informed risk decisions.

• Familiarity with ResWare or comparable title software is preferred.

• Excellent communication abilities, with proficiency in presenting issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly and succinctly in verbal, written, and presentation formats.

• Highly driven, inquisitive, self-motivated, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Capable of producing high volumes of work and performing under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Skilled at building respect and trust to develop and sustain robust relationships with business partners at all stakeholder levels.
