Therapist, Med-Psych Management Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, as well as individual and group therapy sessions.

• Coordinate care across various treatment environments.

• Deliver high-quality individual and group teletherapy utilizing CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed practices.

• Administer validated clinical assessments during monthly evaluations to gauge acuity and monitor progress.

• Modify treatment plans and engagement frequency based on client readiness and clinical requirements.

• Collaborate with Care Team Members and Care Extenders to meet medical, behavioral, and health-related social needs.

• Perform real-time risk assessments, develop safety plans, and stabilize crises for high-acuity situations.

• Complete thorough clinical documentation in DAP format within 24 hours of service delivery.

• Engage members through video, secure messaging, and digital wellness resources.

• Participate in clinical team huddles, maintain population registry data, and oversee panel metrics.

• Involve family members, caregivers, and community organizations to establish support networks.

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and culturally competent, measurement-based care.

• Utilize M3, PHQ-9, and GAD-7 screenings while managing intake referrals.

• Educate clients about available resources and community programs, making referrals when clinically appropriate.

• Develop, manage, and revise treatment plans as necessary.

• Keep confidential patient records and diagnostic documentation in the employer's EMR.

• Submit charges for professional services on a daily basis.

• Provide coverage for colleagues who are absent.

• Mentor and support incoming therapists when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or another relevant behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution.

• A current independent behavioral health license from the Nevada Department of Health (NV DOH).

• Eligible licenses include Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Professional Counselor (CPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of direct experience working with adults in the behavioral health sector.

• Experience dealing with severe mental illness.

• Knowledge of local resources, social determinants of health, mental health, substance use disorders, interpersonal violence, and other social issues.

• Familiarity with Medicare or Medicaid practices is preferred.

• Capability to provide case and care management in both routine and crisis situations.

• Proficiency in training, developing, and coaching team members.

• Strong planning, organizational, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments while ensuring follow-through.

• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
