This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on development builds across various products by adhering to designated test plans and independently exploring potential issues.

• Identify, document, and communicate bugs with detailed reproduction steps, accompanying screenshots, videos, and other relevant information.

• Validate fixes and perform regression testing to ensure that updates do not introduce new problems.

• Evaluate product functionality, visual quality, performance, and usability in diverse scenarios.

• Clearly communicate findings and collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues.

• Efficiently manage assigned testing tasks and adhere to deadlines throughout the development and release phases.

• Comply with internal testing workflows, reporting standards, and confidentiality protocols.

• Assist in the development of aircraft, scenery, and associated products for Microsoft Flight Simulator and similar platforms.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Flight Simulator and experience utilizing aircraft and scenery add-ons.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing.

• Ability to articulate issues clearly and accurately in written English.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to isolate issues and reproduce them consistently.

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

• Capability to work efficiently and accurately while managing fluctuating workloads and deadlines.

• Flexibility to accommodate testing schedules and collaborate with a global team across different time zones.

• Access to a PC that can reliably run the relevant simulator and products.

• Previous experience in software testing, quality assurance, or structured beta testing.

• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and the ability to write detailed issue reports.

• An interest in aviation, flight simulation, or gaming.

• Experience testing a range of simulator products, including aircraft systems and airport scenery.

• A proactive mindset and willingness to investigate unexpected behavior.

• Confidence in providing constructive feedback and engaging in discussions about findings with the team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024; familiarity with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is advantageous.

• Access to screenshot and screen-recording tools for evidence capture.

• Familiarity with collaboration platforms and bug-tracking tools.
