Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Define and take responsibility for the strategy, plan, and testing execution approach.

• Lead functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.

• Manage resources, estimates, timelines, and testing deliverables.

• Coordinate testing across multiple teams and vendors.

• Review and approve test cases, scenarios, and results.

• Ensure comprehensive coverage against business requirements.

• Manage, prioritize, track, and resolve defects with development teams.

• Oversee progress and prepare status reports, metrics, and executive dashboards.

• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.

• Lead defect classification sessions and root cause analysis.

• Ensure compliance with quality milestones and exit criteria.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the testing process.

• Oversee end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects and releases.

• Collaborate with business, development, and project stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Partner with functional, technical, and business specialists in the implementation and integration of innovative solutions and systems.

• Contribute to customer satisfaction through value-added services and products.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 12 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance (QA).

• 2 to 4 years of leading testing teams and their execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Desirable certifications: ISTQB Foundation or Advanced, CTFL, ISTQB Test Manager, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, and Agile Testing.

• Knowledge in test management, strategy and planning, estimation, test case design, execution, metrics and reporting, defect lifecycle, risk-based testing, and root cause analysis.

• Experience with functional, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, UAT, smoke, sanity, and Agile Testing.

• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM / Quality Center, Xray, TestRail, and Confluence.

• Desirable knowledge of ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of automation, preferably with Selenium.

• Ability to work under pressure with a focus on quality and results.
