Test Director – Government

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development, upkeep, and implementation of the Master Test Plan.

• Create test strategies, methodologies, schedules, procedures, and success criteria for testing initiatives in communications services.

• Ensure that testing activities align with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and client goals.

• Authorize test plans, test cases, test readiness assessments, and final test reports.

• Manage and supervise all testing phases, including planning, integration, execution, analysis, reporting, and resolution of issues.

• Track test performance and guarantee that testing activities are completed on time and within budget.

• Analyze test results, identify trends, and suggest corrective measures and process enhancements.

• Ensure adequate documentation of testing procedures, findings, deficiencies, and lessons learned.

• Report on test status, risks, issues, and recommendations to executive leadership and customer representatives.

• Ensure that client objectives and expected outcomes are met through effective planning and execution.

• Be prepared to travel up to 25% to customer and contractor locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Customer-specific clearances (#clearable).

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in testing and evaluating communications services.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing complex Master Test Plans.

• In-depth knowledge of test and evaluation methodologies, processes, and best practices.

• Strong understanding of communications services, telecommunications networks, and associated technologies.

• Experience in supporting large-scale communications systems, network services, telecommunications, or related technology programs.

• Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), or equivalent are preferred.
