Test Automation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Execute both automated and manual testing procedures for applications on iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts that support regression, functional, integration, and release testing.

• Update and maintain automation scripts utilizing tools such as Appium, Selenium, Espresso, and XCUITest.

• Validate software builds and conduct regression, smoke, and functional testing.

• Integrate artificial intelligence within testing environments.

• Log and monitor defects in JIRA, ensuring steps for reproduction are clear.

• Collaborate with software developers to facilitate prompt resolution of issues.

• Assist in the integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Document test outcomes and maintain comprehensive testing records.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in Computer Science, Software Testing, or a related discipline is required; alternatively, 2 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• 1–2 years of experience in QA testing, encompassing both manual and automated testing or software development is required; 3–5 years of experience is preferred.

• Fundamental knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or Swift is required.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Understanding of the product architecture being tested is essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage workloads efficiently and perform well under pressure.
