Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create thorough test plans based on project specifications and requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the scope, objectives, and strategies for testing.

• Develop detailed test cases that encompass various scenarios, edge cases, and user workflows.

• Execute automated test cases and perform regression testing.

• Design and maintain automated test scripts while implementing automation frameworks.

• Log, prioritize, and monitor defects throughout their lifecycle.

• Investigate, replicate, and resolve issues in collaboration with development teams.

• Work alongside developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify software requirements and user expectations.

• Provide constructive feedback on the quality of deliverables and recommend improvements.

• Conduct performance testing and identify performance bottlenecks.

• Keep documentation updated for test plans, test cases, and testing processes.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficient in Git, with experience in creating test frameworks.

• Familiarity with automated testing using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Experience with CI/CD practices.

• Knowledge of API test automation.

• Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools.

• A solid understanding of data testing, SQL, and ETL processes is advantageous.

• Capability to prepare test data in accordance with the data solution feature.

• Ability to automate tasks to the greatest extent possible.

• Competence in testing all elements automatically wherever feasible.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Adaptability to changing project requirements and technologies.

• Proficient in English, at least at the B2 level.
