Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance test automation solutions for both web and mobile applications.

• Design and sustain scalable testing frameworks along with automated test cases.

• Establish testing strategies to ensure exceptional software quality.

• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while continuously refining processes.

• Collaborate closely with Development, Product Management, and other stakeholders.

• Mentor team members and promote best practices in test automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in test automation is essential.

• Competence in WebdriverIO, Cypress, Appium, Selenium, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with BDD methodologies, such as Cucumber/Gherkin.

• Strong programming abilities in Python, ideally supplemented by JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.

• An analytical and methodical approach to work, coupled with practical problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication proficiency in both German and English.
