Test Analyst – QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Plan, design, and implement functional, integration, regression, and acceptance test cases and scenarios.

• Analyze both functional and technical requirements, establish test strategies, and ensure comprehensive coverage.

• Define and assist in the validation of acceptance criteria.

• Identify, log, track, and validate the resolution of defects.

• Validate features across development, staging/UAT, and production environments.

• Conduct API testing and integration assessments between systems.

• Execute queries on relational databases to verify data accuracy.

• Prepare and uphold test documentation, evidence, and reporting.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of quality processes, including automation techniques.

• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Business teams to prevent defects and ensure quality delivery.

• Develop and implement Web, Mobile, API, and contract tests as needed for projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with banking products and processes.

• Proficient in designing and executing test scenarios and test cases.

• Skilled in test planning and strategy formulation.

• Understanding of software quality processes and methodologies.

• Intermediate proficiency with Oracle, SQL, and DB2 databases.

• Familiarity with Jira.

• Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.

• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.

• Understanding of test automation concepts.

• Experience in log analysis.

• Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Rest-Assured is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid is a plus.

• Knowledge of API and contract test automation is advantageous.

• Experience with Allure Framework for test evidence and coverage is a bonus.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins is a plus.

• Experience in performance and security testing is preferred.

• ISTQB/CTFL, CTFL Agile Tester, CBTS, or equivalent certifications in testing, Scrum, and Jira/Atlassian are beneficial.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in the field.

• Practical experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, alongside the use of Jira.

• Proactive in identifying and anticipating regulatory and technical challenges.

• Certifications relevant to the field or methodologies employed will be considered an asset.
