QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out manual testing according to established test cases.

• Clearly document any defects that are identified.

• Develop automation scripts for testing purposes.

• Utilize API testing tools effectively.

• Integrate testing processes within CI/CD pipelines.

• Gain an understanding of the systems being tested.

• Execute designated test plans and contribute to the creation of test plans.

• Oversee test coverage and maintain the integrity of the QA environment.

• Adhere to testing standards and ensure compliance with HIPAA testing requirements.

• Engage in team ceremonies and collaborate with development engineers as well as the product team.

• Communicate defect status, report test results, and prepare test documentation.

• Grasp release objectives and assist in QA planning activities.

• Perform tasks independently while progressing towards ownership of more complex challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in professional QA engineering.

• Practical experience in executing test cases and documenting defects with clarity.

• Familiarity with test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration.

• Knowledge of QA methodologies and quality metrics.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a desire to learn and respond to feedback.

• Preferably experienced in testing within a HIPAA/HITRUST-regulated healthcare environment.

• Experience in performance and security testing is a plus.

• Prior experience in building test frameworks from scratch is preferred.
