Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and administer the QA process across enterprise platforms, which includes developing testing strategies, crafting and executing test cases, confirming bug resolutions, and producing test reports.

• Act as the Testing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise applications such as Oracle NetSuite and middleware services.

• Develop a functional testing methodology for both feature and regression testing; lead efforts in test data gathering, execution, and provide daily updates on testing status.

• Collaborate with business leaders and development teams throughout the phases of design, implementation, testing, and deployment of enhancements and bug fixes.

• Create and uphold systematic documentation of test results.

• Work closely with Product and Development teams to grasp technical and functional requirements.

• Manage coordination between onsite and offshore QA team members to adhere to project timelines.

• Evaluate test outcomes and suggest necessary corrective measures.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) calls and collaborate with business users to showcase the impact of test cases on the Oracle ERP, specifically with journal entries.

• Write SQL queries to confirm data ingestion into databases and the output in end-user applications.

• Assist with testing for ecommerce platforms and additional software as required.

• Collaborate across the organization to become a functional SME for inventory and financial systems.

• Support Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) testing initiatives, including the creation of test cases, responsive design evaluations, and ecommerce testing.

• Liaise with warehouse data centers to ensure proper functioning of order processing.

• Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in owning QA strategy and execution for complex enterprise applications, encompassing test planning, test case design, regression testing, defect validation, reporting, and ensuring release readiness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

• Practical experience in testing ERP, financial, inventory, and order management systems.

• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is essential.

• Profound understanding of retail systems and the financial and inventory workflows within the retail sector.

• Experience in leading UAT sessions with business stakeholders, adept at translating functional requirements into test scenarios and communicating testing results effectively.

• Capability to write SQL queries to verify data ingestion, integrations, and outputs in downstream applications.

• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in testing eCommerce applications such as Shopify, Braintree, and Klarna, in addition to CMS systems.

• Highly skilled tester with a knack for innovative thinking.

• Strong communication abilities and experience in collaborating with key stakeholders and business leaders.

• Experience in coordinating testing activities across both onsite and offshore teams.

• Solid grasp of Agile development methodologies.
