This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive sales performance to ensure that sales targets are achieved or surpassed.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and disease states to effectively engage Gastroenterologists, Primary Care Physicians, APPs, and office personnel.
• Deliver clinically relevant messages to introduce a new treatment option and address customer concerns.
• Enhance understanding of territory market dynamics and identify market access opportunities.
• Facilitate pull-through by effectively communicating with healthcare professionals and office staff.
• Create territory business plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
• Collaborate with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to execute operations efficiently and share best practices.
• Utilize CRM effectively and ensure timely completion of expense reports.
• Promote the company’s inaugural product within an assigned territory to meet sales objectives.
• Work alongside peers, Regional Sales Managers, and commercial teams to achieve territory, regional, and corporate objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of successful medical sales experience, or at least one year of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• GI Specialty experience is preferred.
• Proven and consistent history of success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated success in leveraging marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to cultivate professional relationships with office staff and others within the customer network.
• Proven success in both live and virtual interactions.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Some overnight travel within the territory may be necessary based on geographic requirements.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may also be required.
