This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Establish trust and inform individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, including Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
• Foster in-person connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and home visits.
• Offer personalized assistance to potential members.
• Generate self-sourced sales and achieve performance targets.
• Enhance Humana's market presence by developing community relationships.
• Act as a trusted resource in the local community.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team comprised of 8–12 Medicare Sales Field Agents.
• Operate under the mentorship of a Senior Manager and Regional Director.
• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.
• A valid Health Insurance License is required or the ability to obtain one.
• Must live in the designated territory as specified in this job posting.
• Comfortable with daily in-person interactions in prospective members' homes, at community events, and through various local engagements including service, retail, and volunteer activities.
• Possess a valid state driver's license.
• Have personal vehicle liability insurance that meets a minimum of 25/25/10 coverage limits or higher according to state regulations.
• Ability to work appointments and/or events during evenings and weekends.
• Required attendance during the first five weeks of employment.
• Maintain a dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Self-sourced internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Preferred: Possession of an Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
• Preferred: Experience in selling Medicare products.
• Preferred: Background in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting Value-Based Care organizations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Preferred: An associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language, with fluency in speaking, reading, and writing both languages.
