This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Expand the North Texas region by implementing the sales strategy of Door Security Solutions.
• Leverage company-wide sales goal tools under the supervision of the Director of Sales.
• Collaborate in the development and execution of the territory sales strategy alongside the Director of Sales.
• Provide direction to others regarding sales goals and activities.
• Engage with and conduct sales calls to distributors, architects, general contractors, construction managers, and end users.
• Hold regular team meetings.
• Cultivate and sustain a high-performance team through recruitment, performance assessments, coaching, training and development, and team-building activities.
• Communicate effectively with locksmiths, facility managers, IT networking managers, executives, and other decision-makers.
• Create both short-term and long-term sales plans.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred in sales, business, architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with at least a high school/GED diploma.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the door and hardware industry or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience engaging with the contract distribution channel.
• 1–2 years of managerial experience with responsibilities for overseeing staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM systems and other industry-related software for sales and activity tracking.
• Strategic thinking capabilities and a proven record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications and facility standards.
• Technical and sales aptitude related to the industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the territory and throughout the US.
• Capacity to fulfill responsibilities in a home office setting or while traveling.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display materials.
• Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in negotiation, active listening, organization, follow-up, multitasking, and time management.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
