This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.
• Ensure that the designated territory achieves or surpasses sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential.
• Set and accomplish annual sales objectives within the assigned territory.
• Coordinate efforts with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external clients.
• Monitor and report on market trends and competitive activities.
• Promote Amplatzer Congenital products for ASD, PDA, VSD, and PFO applications.
• Schedule sales meetings with current and prospective customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth goals.
• Develop and implement account sales strategies tailored to product, competition, and pricing requirements.
• Analyze sales data and create action plans on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business challenges impacting product usage.
• Observe procedures in hospital laboratories and operating rooms to gain insights into the needs of physicians and lab staff.
• Establish customer-specific pricing packages in accordance with company guidelines.
• Build relationships with hospital personnel and identify decision-makers in purchasing.
• Provide customer training, VIP travel, orientations, launches, and updates.
• Participate in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
• Educate customers through presentations and demonstrations to secure purchasing agreements.
• Maintain clinical and technical knowledge through company-sponsored product training.
• Evaluate managed care trends, competitor strategies, and the development of new products.
• Prepare and present reports to sales management using data, forecasts, and pertinent information.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of cardiovascular experience, with 5 years specifically in SH, EP, or AV sales.
• Confirmation that you will meet all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Proven expertise in sales, procedural support, interventional cardiology tools, and cardiac echo interpretation.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Structural Heart sales.
• Relevant experience in other percutaneous specialties such as Electrophysiology, Endovascular, Coronary, or Radiology will also be taken into account.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Capability to perform significant work activities, including prolonged sitting and standing, as well as driving a personal or company vehicle.
