This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.
• Ensure that the designated territory meets or surpasses sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential.
• Set and accomplish annual sales goals within the assigned territory.
• Coordinate efforts with clinical consultants.
• Negotiate contracts with external clients.
• Keep the organization informed about market trends and competitive activities.
• Sell products by scheduling sales meetings with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop and execute sales strategies based on product offerings, competition, pricing, and account needs.
• Formulate action plans by analyzing sales data and reports.
• Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business factors impacting product use.
• Observe procedures in hospital laboratories and operating rooms.
• Establish pricing packages in collaboration with Abbott Vascular personnel.
• Cultivate relationships with hospital staff and pinpoint purchasing decision-makers.
• Engage in sales support activities such as customer training, VIP visits, orientations, product launches, and updates.
• Build networks through trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
• Educate clients through presentations and product demonstrations.
• Maintain clinical and technical proficiency through ongoing product training.
• Evaluate managed care trends, competitor strategies, and new product innovation.
• Prepare and present reports to sales management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in cardiovascular sales, with at least 5 years focused specifically on SH, EP, or AV sales.
• Verification that you will meet all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Proven expertise in sales, procedural support, interventional cardiology tools, and cardiac echo interpretation.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Structural Heart sales.
• Relevant experience in other percutaneous specialties such as Electrophysiology, Endovascular, Coronary, or Radiology will also be considered.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Ability to fulfill medical surveillance requirements.
