This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Promote approved Esperion products on-label to targeted customers within the designated geographic region.
• Implement sales strategies and Esperion sales processes locally using authorized sales and marketing resources.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Attain individual territory sales objectives as established by Esperion Commercial Leadership.
• Review performance metrics with the RSM to optimize territory sales outcomes.
• Build and sustain strong business relationships with key clientele.
• Educate Healthcare Providers through personalized meetings, virtual interactions, promotional speaker programs, and other sanctioned initiatives.
• Examine local market trends and develop, implement, and track performance initiatives.
• Utilize sales and marketing tools and resources to meet business goals.
• Stay informed about product payer coverage and achieve market access objectives.
• Participate in local, regional, and national congresses to promote Esperion brands.
• Complete administrative duties including sample inventory management, call submissions and reporting, expense management, and vehicle mileage tracking.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, training, expense-report guidelines, and territory budgets.
• Establish and maintain communication among Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers.
• Monitor territory performance and synchronize Sales and Marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Market Access to enhance payer pull-through.
• Comply with vendor credentialing requirements to access customer locations.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or other STEM fields) is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or relevant sales, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience working with or calling on Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays for territory business and occasional Regional and National Sales Meetings.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meet Esperion's employment criteria.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or similar pursuits.
• Desire to thrive in a start-up environment or previous success in an entrepreneurial sales model with sole accountability for product promotion across a large geographic area.
