This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Facilitate the in-office adoption, endorsement, and retail success of the iVIZIA dry-eye product line within a specified territory.
• Meet and surpass territory sales objectives, activity benchmarks, and distribution goals.
• Perform in-office visits, product presentations, merchandising assistance, and staff training.
• Promote adoption in optometry practices, dry-eye specialty clinics, independent optometrists, multi-location organizations, and optical retailers.
• Implement practice-level selling strategies to enhance product recommendations and retail sales.
• Create buy-and-bill opportunities within practices.
• Develop consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and retail optical personnel.
• Provide product demonstrations, clinical education, and training on patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing in-office dry-eye workflows.
• Represent the company at local society gatherings, customer functions, and educational events.
• Oversee territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation.
• Analyze territory sales performance, market trends, and competitive actions.
• Maintain CRM records, call summaries, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Supervise and support in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising execution.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and provide customer insights to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conferences.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the territory budget, travel, samples, and promotional resources.
• Participate in team training sessions, national meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy-and-bill, or medical devices is preferred.
• Experience in eyecare is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behaviors is highly valued.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to travel within the territory 90% of the time, which may include long drives, short flights, and overnight stays.
• Capability to understand and accurately communicate technical information.
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work protocols, company policies, and safety and security measures.
• Aptitude for meeting deadlines and managing typical workplace demands.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Ability to apply judgment and reasoning to work-related issues.
