This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +1 more state.
• Identify and nurture new business opportunities with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and healthcare administrators.
• Develop and implement territory expansion strategies aimed at market penetration, product adoption, and sustained customer value.
• Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation and needs assessment to contract finalization and onboarding.
• Present data-driven sales presentations that convey the clinical and economic advantages of the Zio platform.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and executive stakeholders.
• Navigate intricate healthcare landscapes to foster partnerships and facilitate account conversions.
• Create and sustain a sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce.com for forecasting, territory management, and reporting.
• Manage account performance and operational health, which includes training, inventory oversight, workflow enhancement, and usage growth.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Customer Experience, Field Sales Representatives, Payer Relations, Billing, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
• Handle business planning, expense reporting, activity tracking, and account health management tools.
• Analyze territory performance, market trends, and competitive activities.
• Provide leadership with insights on territory dynamics, customer requirements, and market changes.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; relevant experience may be accepted in place of education, or a combination of education and experience may be evaluated in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of successful sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in medical device or healthcare technology sales.
• Strong preference for experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
• Demonstrated success in gaining market share, launching new territories/products, or displacing competitors through value-based selling.
• Proven capability to develop and implement strategic sales plans in complex settings.
• Strict compliance with iRhythm’s Code of Conduct, compliance policies, and promotional guidelines.
• High standards of integrity, accountability, and professional judgment.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• An entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong business acumen, adaptability, and resilience.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, approximately 4.5 days a week in the field, with occasional weeknight and overnight travel as needed.
