This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive strategic initiatives within a designated territory to meet sales volume, market penetration, and profitability goals.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and sales colleagues, as well as sales leadership, in a complex matrix environment.
• Recognize and leverage sales opportunities by enhancing physician, support staff, and customer understanding of Abbott therapies.
• Formulate strategies to boost referrals and address challenges related to therapy adoption.
• Establish trust and rapport with customers, key opinion leaders, and industry influencers.
• Generate sales revenue by implementing initiatives that increase referrals of eligible patients.
• Train and mentor new Territory Managers.
• Monitor the performance of new and existing products, as well as competitor sales, pricing, and offerings.
• Follow up on sales leads, resolve complaints, and complete standard reporting requirements.
• Develop sales strategies tailored to capital equipment opportunities.
• Coordinate the scheduling of Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists for implants.
• Engage with patients up to 50% of the time.
• Manage inventory within the consigned territory.
• Analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, file expense reports, schedule appointments, and organize travel plans.
• Make sales commitments for assigned initiatives and remain accountable for outcomes.
• Attend trade shows to discuss new product developments with representatives and clients.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, company policies, operating procedures, and assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain open communication and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Undertake additional related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or a comparable mix of education and work experience.
• Over 8 years of sales experience in the medical device sector.
• More than 4 years of relevant experience in Neuromodulation.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the designated area.
• Capable and flexible to work an unpredictable schedule that may change on short notice.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in effective communication at multiple levels and to large audiences.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and adhering to tight deadlines.
• Compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory standards.
• Preferred: bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.
• Preferred: proven leadership skills and capabilities.
