This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Oversee and cultivate relationships with all designated clients and hospitals within the assigned territory.
• Meet sales targets and enhance market share growth.
• Formulate and execute account strategies to boost procedural volumes and foster business expansion.
• Direct commercial discussions, tenders, and procurement activities.
• Advocate for and uphold Abbott’s pricing and value proposition.
• Assess market trends and competitor actions to uncover new business prospects.
• Establish and nurture connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and assist local Key Opinion Leaders.
• Promote Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE) and workflows guided by imaging.
• Offer technical and clinical assistance during Left Atrial Appendage Closure procedures utilizing cardiac occluder devices.
• Aid in procedure planning, case evaluations, and clinical decision processes.
• Provide training on products, therapies, and applications to physicians and catheterization laboratory teams.
• Act as a technical and clinical reference for cardiac imaging.
• Assist with pre-procedural planning and imaging activities during procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and imaging experts to enhance clinical workflows.
• Serve as a liaison among Clinical Studies, Sales, Customer Service, and Tender Management.
• Maintain CRM/SFDC data and deliver precise sales and demand forecasts.
• Oversee consignment inventory and guarantee product availability.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Several years of experience in the medical device sector.
• Proven experience in supporting interventional cardiology procedures.
• Strong background in collaboration with interventional cardiologists.
• Experience with cardiac occluder therapies for Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC).
• Familiarity with procedures in cardiac catheterization laboratories and/or hybrid operating room settings.
• Knowledge of cardiac imaging workflows, including pre-procedural planning and imaging during procedures.
• Preferred experience in working with electrophysiologists and electrophysiology programs.
• Experience with Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE) is a plus.
• Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and presentation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in account management and business development.
• Ability to forge and sustain long-term customer relationships.
• Strategic mindset with keen market and competitive insight.
• High degree of initiative, accountability, and independence.
• Excellent communication and training capabilities.
• Proficient with CRM systems and sales methodologies.
• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
