This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Meet annual budget goals by cultivating a forward-thinking, high-potential customer portfolio with a focus on OEM and cable assembly targets.
• Advocate for PEI’s corporate vision and ICARE values to foster teamwork, continuous improvement, customer-centricity, and ethical practices.
• Leverage NetSuite CRM as the primary sales tool to make informed, data-driven decisions and effectively communicate activities related to growth objectives and sales leads.
• Continuously enhance industry-leading product knowledge through all available internal and external resources, aiming to become a knowledgeable and well-informed technical advisor within the designated territory.
• Implement strategic plans established by Regional and Branch leadership to optimize PEI’s operational efficiency.
• Drive financial and operational success by setting and monitoring individual goals and objectives.
• Provide regular updates to the Branch Manager and Regional Sales Manager on the outcomes of territory strategies and initiatives, as well as significant developments with individual accounts.
• Foster relationships with internal and external customers, acknowledging the importance of connections with various departments for procurement, engineering, and key decision-makers.
• Identify strategic business accounts and targeted companies through cold calling, emailing, and social networking strategies.
• Strategically plan travel to effectively support business growth through in-person meetings.
• Collaborate with departments such as Finance and Product Management to penetrate and expand accounts within the customer base.
• Utilize all regional resources to promote design-in sales growth, with the objective of achieving or surpassing year-over-year growth targets for this business.
• Engage with local suppliers and supplier manufacturers’ representatives.
• Participate in supplier business reviews organized by the Branch Manager/Regional Sales Manager to discuss key customers and growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Stay abreast of competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging markets to safeguard and expand PEI’s market share and provide critical decision-making information during budget and forecasting processes and reviews.
• Maintain a robust sales and design pipeline for future business, continuously adding and managing opportunities in the funnel by qualifying new leads and exploring potential growth at current key accounts.
• Escalate critical issues related to sales and customer activities to the appropriate manager or decision-maker.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience is required.
• Inside sales and/or field sales experience is preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Experience in the electronics industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
