This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout Western Canada.

• Research and acquire new accounts with high growth potential by analyzing market and account data.

• Engage with targets through customer outreach, site visits, and in-person interactions with facility managers, safety directors, and procurement teams.

• Enhance newly acquired accounts through cross-selling, expanding product offerings, and building strong relationships.

• Transition developed accounts to the Account Management team upon reaching specified revenue goals or repeat-purchase milestones.

• Deliver training presentations for new and prospective customers, as well as long-term channel partners.

• Promote opportunities and advocate for 3M solutions.

• Work in conjunction with Marketing and Technical teams on market research, launching new products, and executing promotional initiatives.

• Continue enhancing product and regulatory knowledge through self-education and corporate training.

• Support 3M’s Environmental Health and Safety culture by adhering to safety protocols, identifying hazards, and participating in ongoing improvement efforts.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent, completed and verified before start date.

• A minimum of three (3) years of sales experience in private, public, government, or military sectors.

• At least one (1) year of experience using Salesforce.

• Bachelor’s degree, completed and verified prior to start, is preferred.

• Proven ability to drive sales growth in emerging markets and accounts, manage challenging customer relationships, and conduct technical selling.

• Demonstrated experience in end-user and distribution selling and support.

• Preferably, three (3) years of sales experience in a Business Development Role.

• Relevant product and industry knowledge is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% within BC, AB, and SK, including some overnight trips.

• Must submit education and work history via a resume or application form.
