This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Identify, target, and secure new business by persuading healthcare professionals (HCPs) to embrace a novel approach to HIV treatment.
• Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to assess clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities.
• Leverage data analytics, business insight, and market knowledge to pinpoint high-priority prospects.
• Develop and implement customized business plans for each client.
• Assist HCPs in expanding treatment models to benefit a larger patient population.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, and other team members across functions.
• Maintain a portfolio-based selling approach and establish communication loops for a cohesive customer experience.
• Deliver proactive customer service and resolve HCP issues, needs, and requests.
• Adjust execution strategies to meet performance objectives utilizing KPIs, scaling successes, and addressing business challenges.
• Build and nurture relationships with key customers and thought leaders.
• Act in alignment with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values.
• Embrace uncertainty and learn from challenges in a launch setting.
• Raise issues and risks and communicate openly when necessary.
• Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
• BA/BS degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• At least 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed, including potential overnight trips.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Proficient analytical skills and business acumen.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to influence and work collaboratively in a cross-functional, matrixed setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales success in complex market access coverage scenarios.
• Experience working with HCPs to acquire, manage, and administer cold chain treatment products.
• Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally within an integrated account team framework.
