Temporary Travel and Expense Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the corporate credit card program, which includes issuing and canceling cards as well as reviewing credit limits.

• Record month-end accruals for travel and expense costs and prepare account analyses for closing procedures.

• Deliver monthly and quarterly analytics on expense management.

• Disseminate analytics results to enhance user awareness and promote accountability and informed decision-making.

• Oversee the car reimbursement program and approve associated expenses.

• Assist internal stakeholders and develop training materials.

• Recognize opportunities for program enhancements and system improvements.

• Ensure adherence to company policies through the use of audit tools and reports.

• Aid accounting and payroll teams with inquiries related to expense reporting and general ledger variances.

• Facilitate the annual financial audit by managing travel and expense requests.

• Support additional analysis and accounting projects as required.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as service providers to guarantee compliance with travel and expense policies and procedures.

• Create executive dashboards and resolve any reimbursement issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting-related roles, with exposure to travel and expense analysis.

• Previous experience in general accounting responsibilities, account reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.

• Must be available five days a week during specified work hours.

• Capability to sit at a desk or workstation for prolonged periods, typically 7-8 hours daily.

• Ability to operate computer and phone systems, type, and utilize multiple software programs concurrently.
