Sustainability Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete process of the annual report, including content drafting, data quality assurance/quality control, and report generation.

• Conduct research and prepare briefs on climate-related topics, peer initiatives, frameworks/standards, and regulations.

• Assist in business development by offering sustainability-related advisory services, including greenhouse gas quantifications, to the sales team.

• Compose white papers and blog articles that simplify complex methodologies for a commercial audience.

• Create slide presentations and supporting analyses for sales discussions, customer meetings, and internal presentations.

• Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of Arva’s Measurement, Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MMRV) methodologies.

• Oversee the collection and analysis of data for Arva’s annual greenhouse gas inventory.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role such as sustainability analyst, coordinator, or consultant.

• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts.

• Knowledge of industry standards, including Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), GHG Protocol, and Scope 3 Standards.

• Experience with greenhouse gas quantification and corporate carbon accounting standards.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders at various levels.

• Highly organized with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
