Temporary Senior Facility Credentialing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Credential and re-credential healthcare providers, facilities, and vendors in alignment with regulations and Healthfirst policies.

• Create presentations for quarterly meetings regarding credentialing and vendor oversight for delegates.

• Conduct pre-delegation and delegation audits of vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Generate physical directories and collaborate with third-party vendors for the publication of online directories.

• Examine relevant provider information to guarantee its accuracy.

• Effectively communicate with both internal departments and external partners.

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvements to maintain regulatory compliance and meet state and federal standards.

• Escalate issues to management and support in finding resolutions.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience in facility credentialing.

• Skills in time and project management, along with critical/creative thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications, including Adobe, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office.
