This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and oversee comprehensive market insights strategies and research agendas.
• Act as the strategic consultant and main point of contact for leads in the Adult Neurology program.
• Identify and choose external partners while managing project execution.
• Integrate qualitative and quantitative primary research, data analysis, secondary research, and competitive intelligence.
• Rigorously evaluate market insight conclusions and their implications.
• Collaborate with forecasting teams to create and test forecast assumptions and models.
• Convert findings into actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Resolve differing opinions, negotiate, and persuade stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
• Direct ad hoc strategy initiatives, including evaluations of new indications, products, and markets.
• Work alongside New Product Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Clinical Development, and R&D teams.
• 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience in market research throughout pre-/clinical, pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
• Familiarity with healthcare professionals, patients, payors, and pharmacy stakeholders in rare diseases.
• Experience in the U.S. market is mandatory.
• Global market insights experience is preferred.
• Experience in neurology and a broad understanding of the rare disease market is desirable.
• Strong grasp of market research design and execution.
• Proficient in utilizing complex quantitative data, including claims and EHR data.
• Capability to identify and translate significant insights.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, make trade-offs, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Capability to maintain a big-picture perspective while focusing on details.
