Temp Course Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Facilitate student learning in online courses for the Master of Health Care Innovation program.

• Deliver constructive and prompt feedback on assignments within five days or less.

• Evaluate assignments for up to 12 students using established rubrics.

• Assist students via email course tickets.

• Engage in live classes and hold office hours with faculty and students.

• Act as a backup moderator when needed.

• Attend the course kick-off meeting.

• Recognize student needs and escalate significant issues as necessary.

• Provide feedback to the MEHP Online team regarding the course experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background check may be necessary following a conditional job offer.

• Capability to give feedback and assess assignments using a rubric.

• Ability to support students via email within 24 hours or sooner.

• Capacity to participate in live classes and office hours, including serving as a backup moderator.

• Willingness to attend the course kick-off meeting.

• Ability to identify student needs and escalate concerns related to grading and attendance.

• Must work an average of 7–10 hours per week, without exceeding 15 hours.
