This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct patient consultations using secure video conferencing technology.
• Create personalized treatment strategies for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorders.
• Prescribe and oversee medications while educating patients on potential side effects and drug interactions.
• Monitor patient progress with regular follow-up appointments and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical records.
• Promptly address prescription refill requests and inquiries.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver integrated, high-quality care.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance as well as adhere to telemedicine regulations and employment laws.
• Quickly report any quality-related issues.
• Attend mandatory training sessions focusing on advancements in mental health.
• Deliver compassionate care, education, and support to all patients.
• Must be a licensed physician.
• Possess a valid DEA license and relevant state-controlled substance licenses.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship options available.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mental health focusing on ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating across adult and pediatric populations, or at least 5+ years in primary care.
• Proficient in using DSM-5 and assessment tools like GAD-7 and PHQ-9.
• Skilled in utilizing EHR systems.
• Knowledgeable about state-specific telemedicine regulations.
• Possess compassionate, high emotional intelligence communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced telehealth setting.
• Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school or an equivalent foreign medical school with ECFMG certification.
• Required to hold either a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry.
• Board certified or board eligible, if applicable.
• Hold a current, unrestricted state medical license.
• Maintain a private, secure, and sterile work environment free from external noise.
• Have a reliable internet connection.
• Require a desktop computer, laptop, and/or tablet for video consultations.
• Capable of prolonged sitting and possess manual dexterity.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and Mentavi Health privacy policies.
• Compensation for no-shows and cancellations in accordance with company policy.
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage for providers working at least 10 hours per week.
