Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary practices, and lab results.

• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions through video conferencing.

• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management in relation to nutritional care.

• Utilize Allara’s nutrition education materials while tailoring care to the individual needs of patients.

• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior-change strategies throughout the continuity of care.

• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs in managing patients’ medical care.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.

• Complete documentation and administrative responsibilities.

• Respond to patient inquiries and messages in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current certification as a Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• One year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health issues is highly desired.

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in contemporary clinical research.

• Proficiency in navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.

• Prior telehealth experience is advantageous.

• Ability to fulfill full-time hour requirements.
