Part-Time Water Management Equipment Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Provide services to current clients by conducting water tests and ensuring equipment maintenance.

• Aid in the upkeep of Comprehensive Water Management Programs.

• Analyze data related to microbiological and water chemistry.

• Respond promptly, professionally, and accurately to client inquiries.

• Execute minor maintenance tasks on water monitoring equipment.

• Take on-site measurements using testing instruments, including readings for chlorine, temperature, and pH.

• Collect water samples from buildings for laboratory culture analysis.

• Report directly to the Director of Field Services.

• Offer service and account management support for clients within a designated region.

• Mentor or train colleagues once fully trained.

• Travel to client locations to service equipment and gather water samples.

• Occasionally provide support in other regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates should reside near Alexandria, LA.

• A background in science, engineering, or mathematics is preferred.

• Must be willing to learn how to operate equipment that measures pH, temperature, and residual oxidant levels in water.

• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities are required.

• Self-motivated and directed with a “Can do” attitude.

• A strong desire to acquire new knowledge and skills.

• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and fostering a diverse workplace.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment while managing multiple responsibilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, and other Google applications is necessary.

• Must be able to travel to client locations within the region.

• Capability to walk extensively at client sites, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
