This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary patterns, laboratory findings, and more.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while customizing care to meet patient needs.
• Employ motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.
• Work in collaboration with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Keep precise and current patient records.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, in addition to administrative responsibilities.
• Document, respond to patient inquiries, and handle administrative tasks and communications promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• At least 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health issues (strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.
• Aptitude for building trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care supported by current clinical research.
• Proficient in working with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum commitment of 10 patient-facing hours per week along with administrative duties.
• The flexibility and independence of an independent contractor arrangement.
• Compensation per visit along with additional payment for charting, administrative tasks, and other patient-related activities.
