This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary practices, laboratory findings, and additional relevant data.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.
• Utilize the nutrition training and educational resources provided by Allara while tailoring care to meet patient requirements.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies consistently throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate effectively with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.
• Allocate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, in addition to time spent on administrative tasks.
• Document patient interactions, address inquiries, and respond to administrative responsibilities and communications promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with a valid certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to operate effectively as an independent provider.
• Strong skills in diagnostic judgment and critical thinking.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with an emphasis on empathy and clarity.
• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Proficiency in navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
• Candidates must submit current active and pending licenses during the hiring process.
