Telehealth Neurologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate virtual neurology consultations for both new and returning patients, focusing on memory disorders and dementia management.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat neurological conditions in alignment with telehealth care standards.

• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and referring healthcare providers to create and modify patient care strategies, including the prescription of therapies.

• Ensure timely and compliant clinical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Refer complex or urgent cases following Local Infusion’s clinical protocols.

• Deliver high-quality, empathetic virtual care to enhance patient accessibility and minimize treatment delays.

• Contribute to the clinical strategy and development of Local Infusion’s virtual neurology clinic.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed neurologist residing or authorized to practice in CT, NJ, NH, VA, MA, or ME.

• Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more of the aforementioned states.

• Board certified or eligible in neurology.

• Proven experience in diagnosing and managing memory disorders, dementia, or related cognitive issues.

• Experience in prescribing and monitoring anti-amyloid therapy for patients receiving these treatments.

• Prior experience with telehealth services is essential.

• Ability to work independently in a contractor (1099) role.

• Strong communication skills with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licensure as necessary.
