Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments through telehealth services.

• Analyze patient medical history, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information.

• Identify and treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.

• Create and execute personalized treatment strategies.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients about treatment plans, medication usage, and follow-up care.

• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system.

• Finalize chart notes and prescriptions within designated timeframes.

• Work collaboratively with clinical and operations teams to enhance patient care and continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license; multi-state licensure preferred.

• Current DEA registration.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment.

• Experience in prescribing controlled substances.

• Strong clinical judgment and comfort in managing common outpatient psychiatric issues.

• Availability to work a minimum of approximately 15 hours per week is preferred for continuity of patient care.
