Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments through telehealth platforms

• Analyze patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information

• Identify and treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD

• Create and execute personalized treatment strategies

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in line with clinical and regulatory standards

• Educate patients on treatment approaches, medication use, and follow-up care

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation within the EMR system

• Complete chart notes and prescriptions within stipulated deadlines

• Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to enhance patient care and continuity

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree

• Current and unrestricted medical license; multi-state license preferred

• Valid DEA registration

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment

• Experience in prescribing controlled substances

• Strong clinical judgment skills

• Comfortable managing common outpatient psychiatric disorders

• Availability to work a minimum of approximately 15 hours per week, preferably for patient continuity
