Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments through telehealth services.

• Examine patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information.

• Identify and manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.

• Create and execute tailored treatment strategies for each patient.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, adhering to clinical and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and follow-up care.

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation within the EMR system.

• Finalize chart notes and prescriptions within specified time limits.

• Work in conjunction with clinical and operations teams to enhance patient care and ensure continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license; multi-state licensure preferred.

• Current DEA registration.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health care.

• Experience in prescribing controlled substances.

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Comfortable managing prevalent outpatient psychiatric disorders.

• Availability to work a minimum of approximately 15 hours per week is preferred for continuity of patient care.
