Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments through telehealth services.

• Examine patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information.

• Identify and manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, following clinical and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and follow-up care.

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation within the EMR system.

• Complete chart notes and prescriptions within designated timelines.

• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to enhance patient care and ensure continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted medical license; multi-state license is preferred.

• Active DEA registration is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment is required.

• Experience in prescribing controlled substances is essential.

• Strong clinical judgment and comfort in managing common outpatient psychiatric disorders are important.

• Availability to work at least approximately 15 hours per week is preferred for maintaining patient continuity.
