Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments through telehealth platforms.

• Examine patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information.

• Identify and manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in line with clinical and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients on their treatment plans, the use of medications, and follow-up care procedures.

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Complete chart notes and prescriptions within the established deadlines.

• Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to enhance patient care and ensure continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• Possess an active and unrestricted medical license; multi-state licensure is preferred.

• Hold an active DEA registration.

• Have at least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health care.

• Demonstrated experience in prescribing controlled substances.

• Exhibit strong clinical judgment and be comfortable managing common outpatient psychiatric disorders.

• Availability of approximately 15 hours per week is preferred to ensure patient continuity.
